Yet asking for what we need is not a sign of weakness—it is an expression of honesty, trust, and spiritual maturity. Asking is not about demanding outcomes; it's about making ourselves available to the flow of divine support that often arrives through the people around us.
Let’s explore why asking can feel so uncomfortable, the beliefs that keep us silent, and how learning to make clear, authentic requests can deepen our relationships, strengthen our ministries, and expand our capacity to receive good.
Bio
Rev. Jen Dickey is passionate about transformation, diving below the surface in exploration of truth teachings, discovering wisdom in life’s lessons and joy along the journey. She’s a contributing author to the Unity publication Worthy, a booklet offering spiritual support from 14 writers who overcame years of rejection to see themselves as dynamic expressions of God.
Rev. Jen serves full time in the Philanthropy department of Unity World Headquarters at Unity Village, MO, and is the part time associate minister for Unity of Davis, CA, a virtual ministry. Rev. Jen also manages ANTN’s social media platforms.
