Meet the Speakers

Rev. Dr. Michelle Ezugwu is a Religious Science Minister and a Doctor of Consciousness Studies with a rich background in life coaching and business consulting. Co-founder and co-minister of Begin Within Ministries – Sofa Sundays – she blends spiritual wisdom with practical life strategies to empower individuals to create a life they love. As an author and speaker, Michelle shares her insights through transformative books and compelling talks. Please welcome Michelle as she offers us an illuminating exploration of the "Set and Reset Method," a strategy for living rooted in Religious Science principles that helps you show up fully, live intentionally, and align your actions with your highest values and truest intentions.

Rev. Dr. James Mellon, a Religious Science minister with a doctorate in Consciousness Studies from Emerson Institute, has served the spiritual community he founded, the Global Truth Center, for over 18 years. Based in Los Angeles, GTC is a community of love, creativity, and wisdom. Merging arts and spirituality through his vision of Enlightenment Through Entertainment, he teaches Principle via music, drama, dance, and all artistic forms. Formerly a Broadway and entertainment professional, he performed in West Side Story and Jesus Christ Superstar and has written for stage, film, and television. Today, James will take us on an exploration of Core Beliefs stemming from "The 5 Questions."

Cerise Patron is a New Thought singer, songwriter, and speaker, and the owner of Experiencing the Sacred with Cerise, leading tours to sacred sites in Peru, Mexico, and Scotland. Currently on the ministerial path at Emerson Institute, she invites us to align with the Light of the Divine Within and to listen for what we are truly called to be on this planet. Today, Cerise issues a powerful call: to embody the change we wish to see, not merely add another voice to the crowd, but to live as the presence of transformation the world is waiting for.

Rev. Dr. Robert Brzezinski, an ordained Religious Science minister, holds a Masters in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute and a Doctor of Divinity from Emerson Institute. He is Spiritual and Creative Director of New Thought Media Network and Spiritual Director of CSL Boulder Valley Teaching Center. Dr. Robert also serves on the boards of the Affiliated New Thought Network and International New Thought Alliance. A dynamic speaker and visionary, he builds spiritual community on-site and online while guiding individuals and organizations toward enlightenment and transformational leadership. In tonight’s presentation, he invites us to mine the hidden gems of our own potential and greatness.

Rev. Elizabeth Rowley Hogue is the Spiritual Leader and Senior Minister of the Awakening Ways CSL in Atascadero, California. Elizabeth is passionately devoted to uplifting consciousness, activating spiritual principles, and guiding others to deepen their connection with the Divine. She is fully committed to embodying this principle in her ministry and life, inspiring others to live with faith, purpose, and love. In this Power Talk, Elizabeth will introduce us to ancient Hawaiian Huna principles, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Mental and Emotional Release work that, when combined, create lasting calm, emotional freedom, and a deeper sense of well-being.

Rev. Eamon Duffy, spiritual director of the New Thought Men’s Community, guides men toward wholeness through heart and soul healing. His spiritual journey began in his early 20s at Mile Hi Church, where he discovered Men’s Soul Work, sparking profound personal transformation. A licensed Centers for Spiritual Living minister, he has led hundreds of men’s groups—from small gatherings to major retreats. His book, The Blessing Circle, explores connection, brotherhood, and the evolving future of masculinity. In his presentation today, he examines why the energy of the divine masculine often feels absent in our society and offers insights into how men can reconnect with their authentic power, purpose, and spiritual presence.

Widely recognized in New Thought, Rev. Dr. Martha Creek approaches deep inner work as an adventure of curiosity and wonder. A master of “right questioning,” she helps others create new ways of being. Ordained in Religious and Divine Science, she has served as Great Lakes Unity Regional Consultant and faculty for Unity Worldwide Institute. Martha holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Emerson Institute and has trained with Byron Katie and the Hoffman Institute. A certified Healthy Congregations facilitator, she brings wisdom and transformative presence. Tonight, she asks: Have we misunderstood New Thought? What has it brought us—and what else is possible?

Rev. Bobby Kyser blends a rich business background with deep faith and boundless creativity. Raised Southern Baptist, he found spiritual freedom in Unity and the Truth of everyone’s divinity, transforming shame over growing up gay into a profound understanding of God, self, and humanity. Since 2018, he has served as Vice President of Hospitality at Unity Village, revitalizing the hotel, creating profitable Airbnb properties, and redesigning the bookstore, café, and event spaces. Bobby passionately shares the Truth that set him free. In this power talk, he invites us to “dive in” spiritually—embracing the unknown and discovering the courage already within.

Rev. Tynya Beverly is an author, poet, and Staff Minister at the Center for Spiritual Awareness in West Sacramento. As Project Director of the African American Suicide Prevention Project, she champions mental health and food justice, believing nutrition supports healing. A Compassion Ambassador and Safe Black Space facilitator, she creates safe, empathetic spaces for Black communities. Retired as California’s Chief Learning Officer after 30 years, Tynya brings expertise in leadership and change management. Co-founder of Wizdom Works and the Real Cream Café, she designs retreats and performances to uplift and inspire. Tonight, she explores life’s transitions as gateways to clarity, confidence, and spiritual expansion.

Rev. Dr. Bill Marchiony, co-founder and Spiritual Director of New Thought Philadelphia, is a graduate of Emerson Institute and a practitioner of Practical Healing Prayer since 2002. Author of Practical Prayer for Real Results and host of the weekly Practical Prayer podcast, he offers spiritual coaching, classes, and workshops. Creator of the daily “God Calls” messages and a presenter on Insight Timer and YouTube, Bill shares wisdom worldwide. As Administrator of ANTN and Executive Board member of INTA, he blends decades of creative and technology experience with ministry. In this talk, he reveals how the Universe’s unwavering “Yes” shapes our lives from everyday conversations to our spiritual practices.

Rev. Dr. Pjae Stanley is a graduate of Emerson Institute with a Master's and a Doctor of Divinity. Her educational focus is Religious Studies, with a major thesis on the transformational power of unconditional love. She is a certified transformational coach with Mary Morrissey's Brave Thinking Institute and the spiritual leader of Harmony Spiritual Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Using story and your involvement, Dr. Pjae will share how to close the gap from envisioning your dream life to manifesting it with simple yet powerful steps and "how to" tools to "Come From" rather than trying to "Get To" your dream life.

Rev. Paul Hoyt, Associate Minister at Centers for Conscious Living in Moorestown, New Jersey, began his New Thought journey in 1983 reading Emmet Fox, Edgar Cayce, and A Course in Miracles. He became a licensed Religious Science Practitioner in 2013 and later a minister. Paul also serves on the ANTN Board. This morning, he explores the hurts we often hide deep within—wounds that block the flow of the Divine. By bringing them to light, we restore that sacred current. Tonight, Paul invites us to release what is buried and allow Spirit to move freely as and through our lives.

Rev. Dr. Soni Cantrell-Smith, ordained in 2011 after graduating from Holmes Institute, is founding Minister of Ahava Center for Spiritual Living in Lexington, Kentucky. A former Music Director at Namaste CSL and co-writer of the musical Last Call, she is active in twelve-step work, LGBTQ+ advocacy, civil rights, teaching at the Hope Center and co-founding Bluegrass Rainbow Faith Communities. As a past CSL Minister Council Co-Chair and current Spiritual Leader of CSL, Soni believes leaders must inspire vision, belonging, and transformation. Tonight, using the metaphor of a divining rod finding water, she reveals how to “tap” the living water of Spirit for clarity, resilience, and empowerment.

Rev. Dr. Janine Burns is the Director of the Guiding Light Foundation and an Interfaith Chaplain with doctorates in Religious Studies and Divinity from Emerson Institute. As a skilled Celebrant, she creates meaningful Celebration of Life funerals and memorial services. She is also a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, bringing compassionate expertise to those navigating loss and healing. Tapping into her extensive knowledge and experience, this morning Dr. Janine will provide us with practical tools to speak words that soothe, comfort, and even save lives, empowering us to transform moments of panic into opportunities for calm, connection, and healing.

Lara Brzezinski, founder of Radiant Joy Coaching, helps people transform their lives through self-discovery, empowerment, and spiritual alignment. A Religious Science Practitioner for over 15 years, she blends intuitive insight, practical tools, and transformative coaching to guide clients in claiming personal power, embracing unique gifts, and creating lives of joy and purpose. Committed to a world where everyone experiences abundance, Lara’s mission is to inspire millions toward lasting happiness. Today, she shares uplifting wisdom to energize and empower us to take action, inviting each of us to step boldly into a more joyful, fulfilling life.
