2026 Retreat

Aligned Awake Aware

This four day program at Unity Village is
answering the call to Love.

We as individuals are called to uplevel our consciousness with a deeper expression and experience of Love. Something bigger is being invited. It is an intentional process that demands an even deeper engagement with spirit and spiritual practices.

We will become even more Aligned, Awake, and Aware with Keynote presentations, Power Talks, Workshops, and Experiential activities.

You won’t want to miss this sacred time together!

Airport Transportation

Unity Village is about 45 minutes from the Kansas City International Airport. You can rent a car, take a cab or Uber, or use our favorite car service BATS. Make a reservation ahead of time, and they'll be at the airport when you arrive. They'll get flight information and adjust if there are delays. And if someone else is going to or from the Retreat they'll offer to let you share the ride - and the fare!

Meet the Speakers

Rev. Howard Caesar has, for more than four decades, inspired thousands through transformational principles for creating greater success and fulfillment in life and practical teachings that integrate science, psychology, spirituality, and timeless wisdom. His impressive resume includes service as the Senior Minister of Unity of Houston, a coach of CEOs of multi-million-dollar companies, a member of numerous boards including Unity World Headquarters and the Association for Global New Thought, and the facilitator of three week-long gatherings with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in India and Italy. He also leads groups and pilgrimages around the world, just recently returning from Argentina. He regularly shares his message through radio, television, and the internet, emphasizing his motto: “Life Is Meant to Be Good!”

Rev. Skip Jennings is a transformational coach, author, inspirational speaker, yoga instructor, and New Thought minister. He is dedicated to helping people thrive in mind, body, and spirit. A graduate of the Michael Bernard Beckwith’s School of Ministry at Agape University, Skip serves as Associate Minister at the North Hollywood Oneness Center. Drawing on decades of experience in wellness, fitness, meditation, and spiritual practice, he inspires people to embrace personal transformation, purposeful living, and holistic well-being. He is the author of Spirit Explosion, The Lotus Kitchen, and The Little Book for Big Transformations, with a new book, Transform in 10, forthcoming.

Rev. Dr. Lesia Kohut is a New Thought minister, consciousness studies scholar, transformational breathwork facilitator, and award-winning author who describes herself as a “Soul Excavator.” Her work is devoted to uncovering the beauty, harmony, and Love at the heart of who we are, even in life’s messiest moments. With a Doctorate in Consciousness Studies and a gift for transforming challenges into opportunities for growth, Lesia brings a deeply embodied and compassionate approach to awakening. She is the author of Soul Excavation, a book that explores the journey from trauma and challenge into expansion and possibility. And, as a former pastry chef and self-professed grammar hound, she brings plenty of creativity and personality to the journey!

Gerald Rivers is an accomplished actor, director, voiceover artist, master West African drummer, and inspirational speaker whose work brings history, spirituality, and the performing arts to life. A classically trained Shakespearean actor, Gerald has performed extensively on stage and has voiced characters in acclaimed films, television series, commercials, and video games. He is perhaps best known as the Voice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., having memorized more than 20 of Dr. King’s speeches and sermons and performed them throughout the United States and internationally. Gerald also teaches African drumming to young people and adults, using rhythm to inspire connection, creativity, and life lessons.

Rev. Ken Daigle is a Senior Minister, author, and transformative teacher whose work brings together practical spirituality, leadership development, and conscious personal growth. A former Broadway performer and New Orleans native, Ken brings a grounded and compassionate perspective shaped by decades of study, leadership, and personal transformation. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Unity Institute and Seminary and has served for more than a decade as a guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As Unity San Francisco’s Senior Minister and founder of the Unapologetic Manifestation and Absolute Abundance programs, Rev. Ken helps people move beyond limitation and create lives rooted in clarity, purpose, and inner alignment.

Rev. Dr. Shari Sorbo is an ordained minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, a psychologist, and an experienced facilitator of personal growth. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology as well as doctorates in Spiritual Studies and Theology from Emerson Theological Institute. For more than 20 years, Shari has guided individuals and groups through transformational experiences, helping people connect with their authentic selves and discover their deeper purpose. Her work draws on Internal Family Systems, the work of Richard Schwartz, and the teachings of Brené Brown, woven together with her own life experience and the wisdom she has gained from working with others. Her vision is to create a spiritual and psychological nexus where heart-centered authenticity can flourish.

Rev. Deborah Johnson, fondly referred to as Rev. D, is a renowned spiritual teacher, author, activist, and founder of Inner Light Ministries, an omnifaith spiritual community in Santa Cruz, California. Throughout her career, she has inspired and worked with thousands across the corporate, nonprofit, governmental, and spiritual worlds, with clients including Apple, AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, and the Ford Foundation. A successful co-litigant in two landmark civil rights cases, Rev. D has received numerous lifetime achievement awards, including the inaugural Walden New Thought Award for spiritually guided activism. She is the author of The Sacred Yes and Your Deepest Intent and holds degrees from USC, UCLA, and Holmes Institute.

Rev. Dr. Kim Andrews has had a professional career spanning a wide range of industries, from fitness and wellness to training and development and the investigation of federal employment discrimination complaints. In 2018, she began serving as Spiritual Leader of Unity Sachse in Sachse, Texas. She holds a doctoral degree in Consciousness Studies from Emerson Theological Institute. After a cancer diagnosis in March 2024, Kim was inspired to share her health journey in her book, So Much More. Her ministry has now expanded to include shepherding others who have received devastating diagnoses from panic to peace and from helplessness to personal authority.
