Rev. Margaret Marcuson joins Rev. Dr. Pjae Stanley to talk about how clergy can get lighter and less burdened by their ministry so they can have more influence with less stress. 

Many ministerial leaders are exhausted. The old methods aren’t working. You might feel uncertain and unsure of what comes next. This isn’t a technical how-to. It is a guide to bringing your best self to ministry during disruption.

You will learn how to:

• Clarify your own goals and boundaries: See what you are truly responsible for—and what you can let go.
• Navigate relationships: Stay connected with key players, even the difficult ones.
• Manage anxiety: Keep calm(ish) when the days and the work feel overwhelming. 

Bio

Rev. Margaret Marcuson has worked with leaders from over 20 denominations as teacher and coach over 25 years. She is the author of Leaders who Last (2009) and Money and Your Ministry (2014). An American Baptist minister, she served as pastor at First Baptist Church, Gardner, MA for 13 years. She lives in Portland, OR, where she sings in two choirs.
