Rev. Myrna is an Ordained Minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, and was Senior Minister at CSL Layton. After retiring in 2022, she joined Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living. During Covid, the Center had no minister, and survived because of a committed group of Ministers and Practitioners. In 2021 we hired Rev. Cindy ___ as Senior minister, and Rev. Myrna supports Rev. Cindy in many ways. Rev. Myrna believes the word “minister” is a verb. Thus, her work is to support people in their spiritual growth, and to support the Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living,
Myrna’s life has been one adventure after another. Fresh out of high school (many years ago) she left Salt Lake City and spent three years in Hawaii, then northern California. She returned to Utah to raise a family. In 1968 the family moved to Texas, and Myrna worked at NASA in support of the Apollo space program. Her youngest daughter was born the day Apollo 13 returned safely to earth. After the Apollo program ended, she moved to Southern California, raised her family, and moved back to Utah in 1984.
Myrna discovered the Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living in 1998, became a Practitioner in 2002, and an Ordained Minister in 2017. She has been centered in the Science of Mind philosophy for a long, long time, and knows it has changed her life for the better.
