Guest host Dr. Michele Whittington interviews Lysa Allman-Baldwin
In this Thought Leader Thursday, we are speaking with Lysa Allman-Baldwin. She is an author, thought leader and New Thought student of many years.
The trajectory of Lysa’s life has led her on many amazing journeys. A few years ago, her travels crossed paths with a very personal, inner journey which resulted in her first book, "I Cried. And People Loved Me Anyway".
It's the story of how, due to a series of events that happened within a very short period of time, her life completely fell apart and she was, literally, ready to check out. No longer able to maintain the subconscious façades she had built up since childhood, the master of coverups she had become shattered into bits, and all that was left was her.
At this point she had no idea who she really was. Through it all she learned how faith, self-forgiveness, and a lot of unconditional love can move us from the depths of despair to living a truly authentic life.
A New Thought student for over 22 years, Lysa has been deeply entrenched in these teachings, using them as the foundation for her work as a dynamic and sought-after speaker, leadership strategist, workshop facilitator, and writer who delivers valuable and effective leadership and self-empowerment tools for authentic and purposeful living.
Her website is AuthenticityAndPurpose.com and her book—I Cried.: And People Loved Me Anyway.—is available on Amazon click here.
