OF OUR MINISTER
Our vision is
that our minister will be a person with a sense of humor, one who inspires
our spiritual community to grow while demonstrating administrative skills
and works with the Board of Trustees and Spiritiual Counselors in the
operations and management of the church.
It is the intention of the members of the Spiritual Treatment Center in Redlands, California to have as our spiritual leader a minister who is an inspriign speaker. This person also has fine administrative skills and knows how to delgate effectively. He/she must work with the Board of Trustees and the Spiritual Counselors to run the church.
We desire someone who is open to change, believes in tithing, is sincere and honest, and sees and meets the needs of the congregation.
Our minister actively participates in and is supportive of marketing an Independent churc with a great music program as well as a youth program. He/she is willing and able to offer a multidenominational approach in lectures as well as classes and workships offered, and is dedicated to increasing the size of the congregation.

FACILITY
The facility
is debt free and owned by the church. It consists of two (2) buildings.
The larger building holds the sacntuary, minister's office, church office,
meditation room, workroom, supply closet and two restrooms. The second
building is the educatindl center with a bookstore and reference library,
two classrooms, a kitchen and a dining area and two restrooms.
LOCALE
The City of
Redlands is located in San Bernardino county near the Interstate 10, 30,
215 and 15 Freeways. The close proximity of these freeways puts Redlands
close to a variety of Southern California atrractions. Palm Springs is
45 miles to the East and Los Angeles is 64 miles to the West. San Diego
is to the South and the San Bernardino mountains are to the North. Beach
communities are one and half hours away. The climate is semi-arid with
warm summers and mid-winters. Average temperatures range form 46 degrees
into the Winter to 99 degrees in the mid-summer.
Redlands has 51 churches, one public library, three newspapers, three radio stations, one movie theatre complex, two outdoor summer theaters, the Redlands Symphoney, two community theater groups, one ballet company, several art galleries, the San Bernardino County Museum, the Historical Glss Museum and the Lincoln Memorial Shrine. The latter is a Civil War Musesum.
Redlands places a storing emphasis on quality education in the community, through the Redlands Unified School District and the prestigious University of Redlands. The community has 16 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 2 senior high schools, 1 private University and 8 private schools.
Redlands has 14 parks totaling 143 acres of land, 300 acres of city maintained citrus groves, and an additional 160 acres of property that has been set aside for future park development.
Average monthly rent in the community is $899.00. The average home is $350,500.00.
SALARY
Currently, the
salary offered is 1/3 of the monthly contributions for one and not less
that $1,000.00 per week and one and a half of work per week, consistin
of Sunday services and office work. With the growth in tithing and contributions,
salary could reach $30,000.00 + per year, with the benefits, or continue
at the 1/3 formulation as mentioned above.

There have been
3 ministers in the last 10 years. the last 2 ministers, resigned and the
previous minister retired.
